According to Advanced Oxford Learner’s Dictionary “Beauty
“ means
the quality of being pleasing to the senses or to the mind.
Kahlil
Gibran” in one of his quote said. “ Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a
light in the heart. Absolute! The
bible also explains further. “But let it be the hidden man of the heart,
in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit,
which is in the sight of God of great price. (1 Peter 3:4). Crystal clear!
It is saddening to say there are certain practical realities of
existence that most of us accept. However, we live in a society that places
high emphasis on the physical aspect of beauty and neglects the other elements
that really matters. In fact, the world has used the word “ Sexy”
to define beauty should we as a Christian accept that. No!
- What makes a woman truly beautiful?
A woman can and should be beautiful because God design her to be
beautiful. Why? God has never created anyone to be ugly! In fact, the physical
aspect of beauty is just a minor part of what makes a woman beautiful not the
major. The bible says.
“ I will praise thee; for I am FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made:
marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”.( Psalm 139:14). In
other words, not all personalities are gifted with perfection of physical
beauty. Some are fearfully and wonderfully made. Meanwhile, no one is created
ugly made as some thought. Every child of God has a God given beauty purposely
to glorify God.
-
Physical Beauty- It is saddening to
say majority thought their outer beauty is as a result of their cosmetics! No!
It’s not. What constitutes or define outer beauty is very simple (1) Good health (2) Balanced Nutrition (3)Exercise
plan (4) Modest Dressing. All this mentioned facts makes up
a physical beauty. In other words, the most influential factor in a woman’s
physical beauty is her health. When a woman is in good health it will add to the
color of her face and skin. Moreover, a balanced diet nutrition and exercise
plan also support a woman’s beauty, and lastly a fully clothed woman dressed in
a modest, feminine way will always gains honor and respect from those who see
her.
-
Inner beauty- In actual sense, what
is the whole point of being pretty on the outside, when we are so ugly in the inside?
Besides, the major beauty of a woman is not really in the clothes that she wears
the figure or shape that she carries. Meanwhile, true beauty in a woman is
reflected in her soul. No amount of physical beauty will ever be as valuable as
a beauty in the heart. Absolute! These are the attributes.
